Information we collect
From your employer's HRIS: name, email, team, manager, tenure, role. From your activity in the platform: recognition sent and received, rewards redeemed, donation allocations, learning progress. We do not collect PHI or payment card data.
How we use information
- Operate the platform — route Drops, issue rewards, distribute donations.
- Report to your employer in aggregated form.
- Improve Give River — model training uses customer-specific data only with explicit opt-in.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared with processors (Stripe, Brevo, HRIS partners) strictly to operate the platform.
Your rights
GDPR and CCPA rights are honored for all users, regardless of residence. Email privacy@giveriver.com to request data access, portability, or deletion.
Retention
Customer data retained for the life of your employer's subscription plus 90 days. Anonymized aggregates may be retained longer.
Changes
We'll post updates on this page. Material changes will trigger email notice to all admin users.
