Privacy Settings — Recognition Visibility
Give River gives you control over who can see your recognition posts, post by post.

Post Visibility
When you create a post, the audience picker offers three destinations:
| Visibility | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Team River | Appears on the main recognition feed for all team members. If your organization uses locations or departments, you can optionally narrow a Team River post to specific ones. |
| Select members | Shared only with the teammates you pick (they receive it directly). They can see the post but don't get its drops — drops go only to the people you recognize or @-mention. |
| Private | Visible only to you in your Journal. |
Changing Visibility on an Existing Post
- Open your Journal (on My River, tap See all on your activity).
- Find the post you want to change.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the entry.
- Tap Make private (if the post is currently on the feed) or Make public (if it is currently private).
- The label under the entry's title changes to Private or On the feed straight away.
Setting Visibility When Creating a Post
When you recognize someone, choose Who can see this on the Why step (you can change it again on the preview). See How to Send a Drop.
Blocking and Reporting in Stream Discussions
In a River Run Stream discussion, open the menu on someone's comment to Report it or Block User.
Something Wrong?
If someone's behavior worries you, tell your company's admin. To report a problem with the app, see Report Bugs and Feedback.
