Company Trivia

How It Works

• A trivia game is a collection of rounds (think "a season of episodes"). Each round has its own set of questions and its own open window.
• A round is either live (open) or closed. You can only submit answers while a round is live; once it closes, the round is locked and the leaderboard is final.
• You play each round once. Your score is the number of questions you answered correctly.

Finding Today's Trivia

On Home, the Happening now row shows a Trivia tile (Play) when your team has trivia games. Tap it to open the Trivia Games list: each game shows its name, description and whether a round is open. Games with an open round have a Play Now button.

You can also play trivia live during a video event, when the host runs a round; see Group Video Events.

Playing a Round

1. In the Trivia Games list, tap Play Now on a game with an open round.
2. The round opens to a play screen with a question, the multiple-choice options, a per-round timer, and a progress indicator showing your position in the question set.
3. Tap an option to select your answer. You can change your selection until you move to the next question.
4. Use the next button to advance through the questions. The timer keeps counting down across the whole round, not per question.
5. After the final question, tap Submit to send your answers.
6. The Results screen shows your final score and (if your team has rewards configured for trivia) any Drops you earned. When the game has round bonuses, the Results screen lists them (for example 80%+ right: +10 drops) and the bonus Drops you earned.

Leaderboard

Each round has its own leaderboard ranked by score. Ties are broken by who submitted first. The leaderboard is visible on the round's Results page once you've finished, and stays visible after the round closes.

Rules and Limits

• You can play each round only once. The play button is hidden after you submit.
• Rounds open and close at the times set by your admin. If you miss a round, you'll need to wait for the next one — there's no make-up play.
• Losing your connection mid-play won't reset your progress, but you need a connection to submit. If submission fails, retry from the Results screen.

Tips

• Open the round early, so you have enough time before it closes.
• Don't overthink the timer. It's shared across the whole round, not per question — pace yourself rather than rushing the first few.
• Check Happening now. The Trivia tile sits in Home's Happening now row, quick to glance at when you check your team feed.

For Admins: Setting Up Team Trivia

Admins set up Team Trivia under Engage › Games & Events: tap the Team Trivia card to open the game builder, then create the game and add its prompts and rounds. To play it during a video event, pick it under Add a game when you create or edit the event. See Team Games (Admin Setup & Rewards).
