Finding Your Chats

  1. Open Team Hub. Your group chats are listed in Team Groups, most recent first. Tap one to open it.
  2. Tap All chats to open My Chats, which also lists your direct messages.

A red count on the Team Hub item in the navigation shows how many messages you haven't read. See Team Hub.

Creating a Group Chat

If your admin lets members create groups (admins always can), tap New group in Team Groups:

  1. Name the group.
  2. Pick the teammates you want to add. Use the search bar to filter by name.
  3. Create the group and start chatting.

Sending Messages

Inside any chat room you can:

  • Type text and tap Send
  • Tap the attachment icon to send images or videos from your gallery
  • Tap the camera icon to take a photo and send it immediately
  • Tap and hold the microphone icon to record and send a voice message
  • Tap the image edit icon to annotate an image before sending

Message Actions

Long-press any message to:

  • Star it (saves it to your Starred messages)
  • Reply to it
  • Copy its text
  • Delete it (your own messages only)

Starred Messages

Tap the star icon in the chat header to view all messages you have starred in that conversation. Starred messages are saved per chat room.

Group Chat Settings and Info

Tap the group name or avatar at the top of a group chat to open the chat overview. From there you can:

  • View group Details (name, description, member count, drops and tokens for charity/cause channels)
  • See all Members
  • Invite new members (for charity and cause channels)

Group admins can also:

  • Edit the group name, description, and image
  • Remove members
  • Change the chat wallpaper

Chat Wallpapers

Inside any chat room, open the settings menu and tap Wallpaper to choose a background image for that conversation. Wallpapers are stored per chat and are visible only to you.

Each chat has a dedicated Media tab that shows all images and videos shared in that conversation, organized in a grid. Tap any item to view it full screen.

Charity and Cause Channels

Charity and cause group chats work the same as basic group chats but display additional stats — total drops and tokens earned by that group — in the Details tab. Your primary charity channel appears on your My River dashboard.
